2conciliate have developed an integration between 2c8 Modelling Tool and Alfresco document handling system.
The integration makes it possible to link documents from Alfresco to given stages of modelled processes, as well as saving documents when given events in a process occur. The integration allows users to link and save information to management or decision making processes, which leads to increased accessibility and quality in governing and management systems.
"With the aid of Alfresco and Redpill Linpro, we can now offer our customers the power of a complete document handling system with the possibility to store, quality assure and publish information in a way that effectively increases the quality of decision making and governing processes," says JanE Larsson, CEO of 2conciliate.
Available in Labs
Alfresco is a modern document handling system that is licensed as Open Source. The system is available in a Labs version that is totally free of charge, as well as an Enterprise version with commercial support.
"Alfresco is a modern document handling solution that follows the CMIS standard that has been designed to make it simpler to exchange information with document handling systems. This integration is a good example of how seamless it is to use CMIS and Alfresco to obtain or send information to and from surrounding systems," says Carl Nordenfelt, Product Manager for Alfresco at Redpill Linpro.
Redpill Linpro is Recognized Gold Partner for Alfresco in Scandinavia and has supplied solutions to customers like Aker Oilfield Services, Region Västra Götaland, the municipality of Jönköping, Capio, Cad-Q and others.
"We have recently been seeing an increased demand throughout Scandinavia for services using Alfresco. Through the integration with 2c8, we can offer users of both applications new possibilities, while at the same time we are able to show how easy it is to integrate Alfresco with surrounding systems and create value for our customers," says Fredrik Svensson, Business Manager for Java Solutions at Redpill Linpro.
