Senior Alfresco ECM Engineer

• Work with the no1 leading Open Source Java Enterprise Content Management product in complex and challenging environments requiring high performance and availability
• Work with leading edge Open Source and Java technology
• Play a key role in pre-sales and implementation phases of an ECM project based on Alfresco. You will regularly collaborate with other engineers (both in-house and external resources), project managers, DBAs, Operations Staff and customer representatives in a team effort to build the best possible ECM solution for our customers
• Take ownership for the architectural implementation of the Alfresco ECM solution at our customer's sites and be an adviser to our customers when it comes to best practices. You will give recommendations with regards to architectural, technical and sometimes procedural questions
• Contribute to developing internal tools and collaborating on process enhancements to increase the effectiveness of our Development teams, and collaborate with our partners and friends in the community

Who you are

You are a dedicated individual with some years of Java development experience. You are comfortable working as a senior developer/architect and like to work alone and as a part of a project team. You put the customer and his requirements first and do your outmost to deliver a solution that meets the customer's requirements. You are comfortable taking responsibility for you and your team's deliverables.

You pay careful attention to detail in both code and documentation. You have the ability and willingness to actively work and coordinate with geographically distributed team members. You take full responsibility in meeting deadlines and delivering with top quality, in a self sufficient manner.

You will have your primary workplace in Stockholm or Copenhagen, but some travelling might occur from time to time.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years experience in Java SE
• Basic knowledge of ECM and Scrum
• Good communication skills, both written and oral in English and in either Swedish, Norwegian or Danish.
• Experience in designing and building Java-based, enterprise-scale web applications
• Experience in Alfresco ECM or other CMS or ECM system
• Experience in working in agile environments
